Planned Giving to CTT

Planning for the future and creating the legacy you wish to leave is one of the most effective ways to ensure a lasting impact. Making a gift in your will or living trust, known as a bequest, can guarantee that your legacy endures. Your gift may be a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or the remainder after all other provisions are specified. Gifts to CTT are not tax-deductible.

You can indicate CTT’s status as a beneficiary in two ways:

  1. Name CTT in your will or trust:

Here is suggested language you may use when drafting your bequest.

“I give, devise and bequeath to Camp Timber Trails, a Massachusetts LLC institution, located in Tolland, MA, Federal Tax ID Number 82-1967987, the sum of __________ (or ______ % of my estate), (or other personal property herein described) to be used for its general operation or loan payments as it shall determine.”

  1. Bequeath a particular account or part thereof:

Log in to your bank, savings or investment bank’s website(s) and navigate to the page where you can specify or change your beneficiaries. Then simply specify the amount or percent of the value of each account you wish to bequeath to the camp. You may be asked to provide some or all of the following information: Camp Timber Trails, is a Massachusetts LLC institution, located in Tolland, MA, Federal Tax ID Number 82-1967987, established on January 30, 2017.

Please consult your estate planner or financial advisor about your plans to ensure they are legally acceptable in your state.
